Belvedere, the word, was being randomly dropped throughout the show, which got tiresome. I'm willing to bet she is contractually obligated to say it a certain number of times per show - a complete sell out.
The opener, Heather McDonald, was a bit rough as well. Despite the crowd being mostly young and single women, she spent the night ranting about marriage and her husband.
Round-table comedians do not always make for good stand-up. As Daniel Tosh once said, "Comedy isn't easy... Treaty Oak Revival would do it if it were."
Not worth the money, we literally paid to watch a drunk and extremely bitter lady bash cats, men, our city (Raleigh), and our brand new multimillion-dollar taxpayer-funded amphitheater. But yes, I do DVR her show every night and thoroughly enjoy it!
